BONNIEHEATH LAVENDER FARM ENGAGEMENT | hanna + kevin
The minute we heard about Hanna and Kevin’s engagement story, we knew we were going to have fun with them. Kevin proposed by making a scale replica of the house from UP! There was space for the ring box inside and Kevin suspended the house using fishing wire and attached it to helium balloons. How creative is that?! We were SO impressed. Hanna is no slouch herself either, she designs water features as a profession! They’re such a quirky and creative couple that they even obliged us with their parody of the painting American Gothic by Grant Wood.
Their entire Bonnieheath Lavender Farm engagement session was a hoot! They told us they were normally pretty awkward in front of the camera, but by the end of the shoot Kevin was giving Hanna directions on how they should pose! Hanna and Kevin are very easy-going, there were lots of laughter and smiles. It didn’t hurt that Bonnieheath had beautiful grounds, and a winery to boot. It was quite educational too, we weren’t well versed on lavender species, but they had a few different varieties of English and French lavenders. When we got there, we took the time to just breathe in the fresh air and take in the scenery!
These two are getting married next week and we’re super excited to see them walk down the aisle. In the meantime have a gander at their lovely engagement session:
