This downtown Toronto engagement shoot was, in essence, a recollection of Ken & Mira’s first date back in high-school. We’re suckers for a romance like theirs. Lucky for us, on their date they strolled through the streets of downtown Toronto, so there was no shortage of really awesome locations!

Our adventures didn’t stop there because the weather was set to give us a great big show! We experienced clear skies in the beginning, then a trickle of rain which gradually turned into downpour; but by the time we hit Harbourfront there was sun peeking out of angry, grey clouds. We were enthused because it was beautiful by Sugar Beach, albeit, very windy. We’d be very happy if the freak weather stopped there but it didn’t… we still had to get hailed on. We had to stop shooting for a few minutes because Ken and Mira were getting pelted with them! The heavy downpour started when we got to Polson Pier and then there was lots and lots of hail. Needless to say, it was one of the weirdest shoot conditions we’ve ever encountered and we’ve had quite a few interesting ones!

We’d like to send out a GREAT BIG KUDOS to Ken & Mira! They got comfortable in-front of the camera quicker than we had anticipated, they braved the weather with us and they were game doing whatever we wanted! They’re our Incredible Couple.

Quick note: the shots of Mira snuggling up to Ken were not faked…the cold made her do it. Haha…
Here is our fun and climate ridden engagement shoot with them:
