SNEAK PEEK | miller lash house wedding
A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of shooting Kathy + Phil’s Miller Lash House Wedding in Scarborough. It was an intimate wedding, with a rustic, botanical theme that was chock full of great DIY details! Gotta love a DIY Bride! (I might be biased, but I can’t be impartial when there’s succulents and cacti involved. You would understand if you saw my ever-growing collection taking over every bright window sill in the house!) We loved Kathy’s attention to detail — DIY weddings are so much work, but it totally pays off when you see it all come together in the end!
We started off the day at Kathy and Phil’s place with their fur baby Tank, an adorable little Shihtzu who was sporting a similar outfit as Phil for the wedding! 😀 Then we made our way over to Evergreen Brickworks for their wedding party portraits. You can’t tell from these photos, but it was CRAZY HOT. Perhaps one of the hottest, most humid days of the year! We were all sweating bullets, with clothes stuck to our skin, but with smiles on our faces! As we were going through our photos for this post, we could see how genuine and uninhibited Kathy and Phil’s smiles were through out the day. If that’s not a vision of a happy couple, I don’t know what is! It was great to be able to share in their laughter and capture the spirit of their celebration. All in all, it was an amazing day! We always say this, but we REALLY can’t wait to show you more from this one! More to come real soon!
