THOMPSON HOTEL WEDDINGToronto, Ontario
Erinn and Adam had their winter Thompson Hotel wedding right around the holidays. We shot a summer wedding at the Thompson a couple years ago, but Erinn and Adam’s wedding couldn’t be more different. We loved how they added a Scottish touch to all their wedding details. The thistles, bagpipes and kilts combined with the joyous atmosphere and Christmas lights just made their wedding a Photographer’s dream come true!
Winter weddings in Toronto are always a little unpredictable. One day it’s nice and balmy, and the next there could be freezing rain and 2 feet of snow! Unlike most people, Erinn and Adam actually WANTED snow for their wedding. Unfortunately (or fortunately for the rest of us), it turned out to be an unusually warm, sunny day. It was practically like spring in December! The weather was nice enough that we were able to shoot their portraits outside and on the rooftop of the hotel. Most of the festivities happened at the Thompson, but Erinn and Adam had their ceremony inside the quaint Rosedale Presbyterian Church. They also arranged for us to shoot inside Colette Grand Cafe, a new French restaurant that’s adjacent to the Thompson. (We’re secretly pining to have a fancy dinner there one day)
Without further ado, here’s a look at Erinn & Adam’s gorgeous winter Thompson Hotel wedding!
