SNEAK PEEK | university of toronto wedding caroline + kia
For the past few years, there’s been a on-going trend for rustically decorated weddings. We’ve definitely shot our fair share of chalkboards, mason jars and wild floral arrangements! But every now and then, we get the opportunity to shoot a wedding that’s timelessly beautiful like Caroline & Kia’s University of Toronto wedding. Think all-white colour scheme, vintage car, a church with stained glass and a wedding dress with a train that will knock your socks off! Caroline’s dress was covered in lace, and the massive train trailed behind her as she walked down the aisle to the Wedding March. We haven’t heard the Wedding March in a long time, but it’s still so grand and striking, especially when the Ceremony is held at a church like Knox Presbyterian.
After the ceremony, we made our way to the UofT campus, where the architectural details at University College created the perfect backdrop for Caroline & Kia’s portraits. (Going back on campus was a little nostalgic, since we’re both UT Alumni! Seeing all the students starting the new school year reminded us that we’re getting pretty darn old, lol.) The day ended with a lavishly decorated reception at the Gardiner Museum. Caroline & Kia’s wedding was unique in that it was a celebration of many cultures coming together. It was a delight to see all the little details at the reception that paid tribute to their diverse backgrounds.
Without further ado, here’s a little sneak peek of their big day! ❤️
